Over the last 10 years

Erdi has deep dived into varied training disciplines including (but not limited to) bodyweight strength, handbalancing and flexibility.

In this workshop he will be covering these fundamentals and blueprints he deems to be most important and worth investing your time into so you can build an efficient practice and be sure you’re on the gains train for a long time coming.

HANDSTANDS:

Learn everything you need

to actually handstand so you don’t waste time on unnecessary drills.

We’ll be covering:

  • How to balance

  • What handstand specific strength is required and how to build it

  • How much flexibility is really needed to handstand and how to assess if you have enough

  • How to progress towards the press to Handstand

Flexibility:

We’ll be covering these 5 areas of flexibility and how to develop them while also building strength in the ranges, allowing you to use them in your other practices:

  • Pike

  • Front Splits

  • Bridge

  • Middle Splits

  • Pancake

Bodyweight Strength Training

Covering the 4 main planes of movement

for the upper body and how to progress efficiently

  • Vertical Pulling + Pushing (The Chin-up and Handstand Push-up and their regressions and progressions)

  • Horizontal Pulling + Pushing (The Row and the Push-up and their progressions onto the gymnastic rings)

DATES/TIMES:

DEC 8TH: 9AM-4PM

*Both days will have a 1 hour food break

Balancing the Equation Seminar

Weekend Course in San Diego on hand balance, acrobatics, and flexibility development.
This course will be a mix of theory and practice and will be focused on offering different perspectives towards helping learn acrobatic skills as an adult.
Please note that the topics listed below are only general guidelines. Each course that I teach is unique as the content is ultimately governed by the group and the type of facility we have available.

The course will run two days with each day consisting of 2 3-hour sessions with a 2-hour lunch break in between. This course is welcome to all levels of ability.

Autism Fitness Level 1 Certification

You’ll explore Autism – the medical history, symptoms, and evidence based strategies to overcome known developmental deficits, plus unique ways to adapt fitness programming to meet these unique needs. There is no other training like this in the world and a must if you’re planning or already are bringing fitness programs to those with autism. Eric Chessen’s Autism Fitness Certification is the culmination of Autism Fitness programming strategies tested, implemented, and refined over a decade.
